It's been a few years since I photographed this peanut inside of bowls and covered blankets in May of 2011.  The one thing I remembered about her as a newborn was all of that hair!  At 3, it's all about her beautiful blue eyes.

We've known Emily's parents for a long time but unfortunately haven't seen them since the last photo session.  We had them over for breakfast before pictures and watched our kids play together for the first time.  Both of them were very articulate when they spoke and they shared so many similarities in their thought processes- most notably, their negotiating skills.  Leah is pretty observant when it comes to everything going on around her and Emily was the same way.

As a father, I tend to notice all the little things that make each kid unique and special.  Emily, like Leah, is strong-willed, intense, focused, determined and definitely a leader.  She walks to the beat of her own drum and that's a good thing.  This spirited child will grow up and do many amazing things because it's in her nature.
