Chris and Janine: A pregnancy session.

Michigan weather is pretty unpredictable and it's not uncommon to experience all four seasons in one day.  However, this past Sunday (which was the start of summer), the weather was absolutely perfect for Chris and Janine's pregnancy session.  After a brief morning rain, the clouds broke and gave us some awesome overcast lighting from above.

These two are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their first baby- a boy!  Thankfully, Janine has had lots of experience caring for a child... kind of.  It's no secret to anyone that Chris is actually a man-child and requires much of the same attention and dedication as three children under the age of 6.  His spontaneouty and persistence keeps Janine on her toes at all times.  I have no doubt that Chris will be the Dad who builds an actual flying rocket ship with his son and travels to outer-space.  He is an engineer, after all.

One thing I've noticed over the years of knowing Chris and Janine is they are a very loving and caring couple.  Their new baby is lucky to have them because I know they will be awesome parents.  I'm excited to meet him this August and to be the first one to photograph him.
