Scott and Meghan's Engagement.

An engagement session in Columbus, Michigan shot entirely with the Fujifilm X-Pro1 and the 3 available Fujinon prime lenses.

When my good friend Meghan asked me to photograph her engagement session, I was a little hesitant at first because I hadn't used the X-Pro1 for anything more than fun shots of the family. Before the X-Pro1, I used a Nikon D700 with awesome Nikon glass like the 85mm f/1.4G, 24-70mm f/2.8G and the 70-200mm f/2.8G.  I was coming from an amazing system but ultimately made the switch to Fuji after seeing their dedication to mirrorless cameras; the future of digital photography.

I couldn't be happier with the way the X-Pro1 performed! It was lightweight, accurate, quick (when it needed to be) and completely unobtrusive to the creative process.  If it wasn't for the available light dwindling on the horizon, I could have stayed out there for another couple hours.  It was serious fun!  After the shoot and seeing the incredible images captured by the X-Pro1, I'm convinced; this is one serious, professional tool.

Below are the awesome images of my very photogenic friend, Meghan, and her equally photogenic fiancĂ©, Scott.

All images taken with the Fuji X-Pro1, Fujinon 18mm f/2 lens, Fujinon 35mm f/1.4 lens and the Fujinon 60mm f/2.4 lens.
