I’m not an expert nutritionist but…

…this has to be a healthy way to start the morning.
The Green Monster
2 cups spinach
3 kale leaves
1 med orange, halved, peeled
2 bananas, frozen
1 med apple, halved
2 tbs flax seed
1 cup ice (if bananas not frozen)
2 cups water
Blend on high for 30-60 seconds or until it’s nice and smooth.
If you require more protein in your diet, I guess you could just add a serving of your favorite protein powder. This recipe makes a lot (probably 6-8 cups) but it refrigerates well and is just as good to have at lunchtime.
